Responsible company

Questions can be sent to privacy@svarvaerk.dk.
Necessary cookies
Necessary cookies are used only for the function requested by the user and never for analytics or marketing.
- ✓ sv_session — up to 30 days or until sign-out — a random, server-validated session for passwordless sign-in; HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure over HTTPS.
- ✓ sv_workspace — up to 12 months — remembers the selected workspace; membership and access remain server-validated; HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure over HTTPS.
- ✓ Necessary hosting sign-in and security cookies — for the hosting session — authentication, session protection and abuse prevention.
Browser storage and chat widget
Browser storage keeps a selected chat together and prevents the same cookie information from being repeated.
- ✓ svarvaerk_widget_session_[widget-key] in sessionStorage — for the browser tab and no more than 23 hours — contains the widget’s signed session proof and conversation ID; it is not used for cross-site tracking.
- ✓ svarvaerk-cookie-notice-v1 in localStorage — until website data is deleted or the information version changes — only remembers that this information notice was closed.
No analytics or marketing tags
The current public service does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or similar general analytics and marketing tags. The cookie notice does not send server-side marketing events.
Product descriptions of possible integrations do not mean that those integrations are active on the public website.
If optional technology is enabled later
This policy and the consent layer will be updated before such a change goes live.
- ✓ Optional storage must remain blocked until the user gives free, specific, informed and affirmative consent.
- ✓ Rejecting must be as easy and visible as accepting.
- ✓ Purposes, providers, data types and duration must be disclosed before activation.
- ✓ Consent must be as easy to change or withdraw as it is to give.
Widget on a customer website
When a visitor opens Svarværk chat, the widget uses necessary sessionStorage to provide the conversation. Its API calls omit browser credentials and it does not set a Svarværk cookie on the customer’s domain.
The customer remains responsible for other tags, pixels and its consent solution, and for describing the chat processing in its privacy notice.
